POSITION: Moderator for Portfolio of Evidence submitted by Pharmacist Interns (x2)

REMUNERATION PACKAGE:

The moderator will be reimbursed for moderating entries and facilitating workshops on a prorated basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

(a) A minimum qualification of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree or equivalent and registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a practising pharmacist;
(b) A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a tutor of Pharmacist Interns;
(c) Must be compliant with continuing professional development (CPD) requirements for registered persons;
(d) Must be a registered assessor or moderator with the SAPC;
(e) Experience in academia will be an advantage; and
(f) A postgraduate qualification in pharmacy will be an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

(a) Moderate Portfolio of Evidence entries submitted by Pharmacist Interns.
(b) Facilitate Intern/Tutor workshops and feedback sessions.
(c) Attend to all matters related to Portfolio of Evidence moderation.

REQUIREMENTS: 

(a) A minimum qualification of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree or equivalent and registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a practising pharmacist;
(b) A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a tutor of pharmacist interns;
(c) Must be compliant with continuing professional development (CPD) requirements for registered persons;
(d) Must be a registered assessor with the SAPC; and
(e) May not be a registered tutor of a pharmacist intern during the period of appointment as an assessor.

(a) Assess Portfolio of Evidence entries submitted by Pharmacist Interns.
(b) Facilitate Pharmacist Intern/Tutor workshops and feedback sessions.
(c) Attend to all matters related to Portfolio of Evidence assessments.
